Chỉ thân phận người phụ nữ bị xem là thấp kém, hèn mọn trong quan niệm xã hội cũ. Thường dùng để than thân hoặc nói về cảnh ngộ bị coi rẻ.

Refers to the lowly, despised status traditionally assigned to women in old society. It is used to lament one’s lot or to speak of a situation in which a woman is looked down upon.
